See what you're actually being charged.
RakamHQ computes the effective fee you paid, per rail and per day, and compares it to what you assume. When a rate quietly creeps up, you get an alert instead of a surprise.
Fees are the most common reason a settlement is smaller than you expected, and the easiest to forget. RakamHQ turns them from a vague deduction into a tracked number: the effective rate you actually paid, computed from your own transactions.
Once fees are a measured series, drift becomes visible. A rate that creeps from 2.0% to 2.3% across a week is money leaving quietly - RakamHQ catches it and tells you.
What you get
- Computed-vs-charged fees, per rail and per period
- Effective rate derived from your real transactions
- Drift alerts when a rate moves against baseline
- Per-transaction fees captured where the rail reports them
- Fee lines reconciled inside every settlement
Fee intelligence, in detail.
From deduction to data
Where a rail reports a per-transaction fee, RakamHQ captures it directly. Where it does not, the fee is derived from the settlement math - the gross of the payments inside a batch against the net credit that arrived. Either way you get an effective rate you can trust: not the rate you were quoted, the rate you actually paid.
Computed versus charged, per rail
RakamHQ holds the fee you assume next to the fee it computed from your own transactions, broken out per rail and per period. When the two agree, the settlement is clean. When they diverge, the difference is shown in rupees and as a rate, so an overcharge becomes a specific number you can raise with the provider rather than a hunch.
Drift is the alert worth having
A single day's fee is easy to shrug off; a trend is not. RakamHQ compares a recent fee window against a longer baseline and raises an alert when the effective rate drifts - a creep from 2.0% to 2.3% across a week is money leaving quietly. You hear about it in days, not after months of silent leakage.
Reconciled inside every settlement
Fees are not a separate report bolted on afterward. Every settlement RakamHQ decomposes carries its fee line reconciled against the payments in that batch, appended to the ledger with the evidence attached. The effective rate you see is the sum of proven per-batch fees, each one traceable back to the exact credit it came out of.
Ask what a rail actually costs
Because fees are a measured series, you can simply ask. 'Khalti le last month kati fee liyo?' returns the total charged, the effective rate behind it, and a link to the settlements those fees came from. The figure is computed by the ledger and only restated in words, so it is exact and cited, never estimated.

Common questions about fee intelligence. Want it run on your own data first? The concierge reconciliation is free.
It is the fee you actually paid, expressed as a percentage of the payments it applied to - computed from your real transactions rather than the headline MDR you were quoted. Rounding, minimums and per-transaction caps all fold into it, so it reflects the true cost.
